********** SOLD *************
Along with all the other stuff I am selling after breaking my scoob
See here https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...ing-broke.html
I have the Engine Block EJ20 for sale
It is a pretty solid block and has, with the correct supporting modifications, been a reliable 300BHP engine.
Reliable after some serious amount of work though

First to go was 2 pistons, 2 & 4 and the engine was rebuilt by API
Then about a year later, after a major service, one of the oil seals let go and it suffered a major oil leak. The result was a rebuild of the crank, oil pump etc to a higher stronger specification. Since then it has proved to be spot on.
I have all the paperwork of all the work done on it if anyone is interested
It will be sold without manifold, injectors, coil packs etc unless anyone wants an engine they can just slot in.
The engine is currently still in my scoob and whilst the induction kit, FMIC etc is all off, the engine still runs and so any interested party can hear it first
The cost is a mere £800
I have access to an engine hoist via a friend so it can be whisked out fairly soon and placed on a pallet ready for shipping or collection

MY00. Well mileage on the car is around 70K, but bear in mind this engine has been rebuilt and so the accuracy of the miles changes due to these changes. The actual amount of miles done on the current engine since the rebuild is around 18000 so nicely run in

I believe the crank was replaced with a competition crank after a discussion between myself and David at API. I will have to dig out the paperwork this week.
As to a price on the whole engine, are you talking the long motor, manifold, maf, plugs, injectors, coil packs etc ?
If so then I will have to put some numbers together for you

Hi ST,
I have a MY00 and have the dreaded bearing knock the choices I have are....
1. find a new EJ20, reliable rebuilt short engine, STI or even closed block with forged internals and mount my existing cylinder heads.
2. Buy a MY99/00 long motor.
Cheers Plums...

Hi guys. I need to eother speak to David @API to see if he has all the paperwork or find it myself. It is somewhere I know ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I am also speaking to the mechanic who did the rebuild and put the engine back in if he can shed any further details
Be back soon
