As some of you may have read, I have had yet more trouble, now a uncliped release bearing. I know this can be done easily but it seems endless, with one thing or another, so will possibly break if they is enough interest. Just a quick outline post here, so please let me know what you think of prices. Cheers Del

The car runs as sweet as a nut fella, its just like now with the slave cylinder failing and pushing the clutch fork past its max, I can't be bothered to take the gearbox off to do this simple fix. The car was remaped by JGM very recently 28/08/09 and made 370/360, then maxed the injectors. If 740's are fitted it will be around the 390 bhp mark. When mapping there were no issues with the engine, IE: detrimental noises etc etc. This car will only break if the engine is sold, or I will just make time and repair it.

Can not tell you if the turbo is an Andy F. one. All I can say is that it spools up very well but that will also be down to my supporting mods.
Engine is a US STI EJ257. V3 STI heads and it works very well indeed.
All in all this is a very good car that has had a lot of work done on it by me and the previous owner. Sounds silly to break as It just needs the release bearing cliping back in but the clip is off the release baering so the gearbox needs to come out. But as you all know, you never get your money by selling complete, hence the breaking post.
Please note, that unless the engine and a couple of other major bits go, I will be keeping it.

Hello fella hope your well. Yep it's the way it goes mate. Just testing the water with the bits to see if there is any interest. If not I will just repair it myself, which I normally would do but just had enough of scoobies at the present time mate.

Nothing wrong with the engine fella, the problems with the build was wrong parts being constantly sent out so took forever to complete. The bottom end was a brand new US STI EJ257 and the heads are V3 STI.

sorry did not mean to make it sound like there was engine problems, just got the wrong message from the post.
i tak it you have had no luck in seling it as a complete unit as it seems a shame to sell it off in parts as it sounds like a bloody good spec but all the best in what you do, might be worth holding out for the money you want for it, which is what by the way also a few pics to go with to tempt people again
