Hi guys,
I miss driving around in a Scoob, so as a result, we are putting our Honda Accord up for grabs.
Its a 1999 model (Pre-facelift)
140k Miles - Ex Honda Demo car. Please dont let this put you off. These cars are good for 300k on the original engine.
Engine is a VTEC so an excellent piece of machinery. High revs is where you want it on these cars.
Type R trim, inc Recaro Seat, twin exhaust, Type R bodykit
Lots of stamps in service book.
Full service including cambelt, cambelt cover and Knock sensor carried out 4 months ago.
New disc brakes on the rear and new pads all around.
Brakes lines just been done.
Very good runner.
4 Months TAX and just put 12 Months MOT on it.
Only bad points are the paintwork. It has a scuff on the front bumper and another on the rear, and some scratches around the body. The scuffs would need a spray and the scratches would come out with a good Buff.
Headlights need a buff aswel.
Small hole in drivers side carpet as seen in picture.
That is it. Purely cosmetic.
Please dont let the paintwork put you off as with a little time, she would look sweet. I just dont have the tools to give it a buff myself.

The Accord Type R's do have a rear spoiler but for some reason, this one was requested from the dealers without.
Price is £2300 ono. As mentioned above, i am looking for a Classic Turbo 2000 / WRX / Possible STI (Price dependant), so please let me know if you have anything. Looking for something around the same value, maybe a little more.
Number is 07505511584, however i dont have signal all the time, so you can also email at stevo_stryder@hotmail.co.uk
Many thanks for looking.
Please ask any question and ill answer them honestly.

Great cars these. I had one about 3 years ago.
A fast, reliable and good handling front weel drive family saloon.
The most reliable ~200BHP car I have ever owned.
I did have the dreaded gearbox issues that the pre-facelift models had as mine was one of the unlucky ones that did not get re-called, but that was fixed as per the honda buletin by my own warranty and was perfect afterwards and perfect in every other way.

I actually like the stealth of not having the big wing spoiler. Mine had it fitted but it wouldn't bother me if it wasn't there.
Oh and those seats were ACE!!!! Comfy and tight at the same time.

they have a little puffy squidgy thing that makes the seat firm or soft. lol Love playing with it. Like stress relief.
If i wasnt such a scooby fanatic, id keep it. Just needs a good polish and she would come up good. Im contemplating getting it done
