im looking to swap this for a wrx or uk wagon, must be facelift and in good condition.
its done 109k miles but has full main dealer service history from new, every reciept for everything ever spent, the services and parts come to over £5500 spent on it.
the clutch and flywheel were changed at just under 60k miles by ford in lytham, i mention this as this is reported as the weak part on this model of car and its expensive to replace them, they should last for 100k miles, so really this one should be good for another 60k miles! by the look of it, it was replaced out of course rather than because it went.
it has mot until may 2010 and i have just taxed it for 6 months, its cheap to tax @ £80 for 6 months.
it starts runs and drives great, its actually got loads of power and seems to run on fresh air, I get a genuine average of 52 mpg! if you squint when you get in it its lovely inside and really nice to drive, its been perfect for me the past feew months as work has been pants and it offers some serious value for your money at the pumps.
theres really only 3 negative points, theres a mark on the osr top quarter where a stone has bounced from a lorry, its not bad but its marked the car, also the nsf wing has a small scuff, the front tyres are getting ready and the balancing is out, the tyres are all matching pirelli's.
its got all the bits in it you would expect, like air con, heated front screen, great stereo system, elec windows x 4 etc.
I really cant be without a car for long so ideally looking to swap it, but will look at sensible offers around £2500 for a cash sale. only looking to swap as where I work is renound for snow in winter and were meant to be moving upto buxton, so its going to be worst if anything so really need a car with awd.
sorry its dirty in the pics it just seems to be crap weather here all the time so everytime I wash it, its dirty again within minutes. it polishes up lovely, I have used my HD snow foam lance and megs wax on it recently, just to see how it came up for a laugh. looked good.
