***White STI v2 Impreza***
I've been toying with the idea of selling the scoob because I now have my own place and I start my new job in febuary as a fulltime firefighter. I'm looking to replace it with an Audi S3 or a BMW 2.5/330ci. I want something I can just get in and drive without all the tiedowns of owning a high performance japanese car. I would be intretested in a p/x for the above mentioned cars or cash.

Abit about the car
Im gutted to be sellng my pride and joy. Ive had it now for over two years and what a pleasure it has been. I bought it in standard trim and over the last 2 years i have spent £4000 on sensible mods and servicing parts it needed. I always warm it up and cool it down, and the oil and filter are changed frequently. I believe that by doing those 3 things means enjoying a reliable scooby engine for years to come. The car has recently been serviced, the cambelt isnt due for another 6,000 miles.
The scoob has only let me down once, the earth wire to the fuel pump under the rear seat had corroded away. (this is a common problem with classic scoobs) Other than that ive enjoyed two years of reliability which has seen me complete two trackdays and many trips back and forth to east london from the (IOW) without missing a beat. The gearbox is smooth and strong and pulls in every gear as it should.
The interior is in a very very good conditon. The seats/door cards have come from a facelift STI. The car has never been smoked in. All buttons work as they should.
The exterior of the car is in good condtion for is age although it could do with some tlc if the new owner wanted a mint scooby. It has a few stonechips on the bonnet and a few 'trolley dings' on the doors. For me as a car enthusiast the bodywork has never bothered me as im not a 'mint lover' i like a VERY clean car. I can live with a few dents and stonechips hence why i havent had it done. More importantly the body work has no rust!
The scooby starts everytime, doesnt smoke/rattle and is a faultless drive. Even Simon from JGM commented on how good condition the engine sounded for its age.
The bad points are;
Steering wheel has some wear on it
Roof needs to be resprayed
Bodywork dings chips and mark on rear bumper
Cracked coil pack - will be replaced before sale
Rear wing has a crack on the lower side, no thanks to chavs.
Im not selling this scoob as mint but a very clean example for its age. Im in no rush to sell either. Im looking for £5500

As I've said I'm in no rush to sell. So I've put a price that I'd like to get given the condition of the car and the mods I've spent. I won't break as it's my pride and joy plus I don't have the time. I'd like someone else to enjoy this amazing car. I'm open to px on the cars I've mentioned in my first post. I would also consider BMW 323/325 etc

Hi beenyman,
Ive had some intrest but as of yet its not sold. The roof vent is a genuine RA vent but fitted aftermarket. The guy who had the car before me did a good job putting the vent in but his paintwork skills wernt great, hence why i said the roof coud do with a respray.
