I've double checked and it will defo be ok for your car. I've taken it off mine, which is a 2005 55 plate blobeye STi Type UK. I'm a member of Lancashire & District Subaru Owners Club (LADS) and it was one of the tech lads off there that re-mapped mine and told me which car it will go on. To get the full potential, you'll need a walbro 255 fuel pump (if not got one already) and the Prodrive exhaust and cat. It will run fine and have more power than std without the Prodrive exhaust, but the uprated fuel pump is a must. Ask one of the tech lads off here, or if you're a member of your local club have a chat with someone in the know. I'm only passing on info I've been told. Other than that, I know next to nowt . Hope this helps.

i have the walbro already mate. car is standard otherwise.
i presume its not just plug and play i will need my dealer to code it to my keys? only other thing i need is the prodrive exhaust.
so this is a standard PPP ecu as it would come from in the PPP kit?
what you got now?

Andrew (tech guy) did mention the key codes, I'm sure it's cheaper to get a good Scooby specialist to do this, rather than the main dealer.
It is the standard ecu that comes with the PPP yeah. I've got the cert that comes with it, but it's got my reg and chassis number on it.
I swapped my prodrive exhaust and some cash for a 3.5" bore APS full de-cat system, put lightened pulleys on, a K&N replacement element, already had the walbro and put a std STI ecu back on, then had it re-mapped. Came out at 340bhp/350lbft on the rolling road.
PPP is around 305 bhp with similar torque, so it's not much more than the PPP really. I just really wanted that APS exhaust , and the PPP had to go for me to do this.
