Civic Type R Coupe
The car is a 2001 Honda Civic Coupe (rare car) with a wee bit of a difference. It's had an engine conversion. It now has a 2004 Civic Type R engine. The engine has covered about 38k.
All work was done by Gerry at Performance tek in Glasgow. One of the best Honda Guy's out there if not the best.
The car was featured in Japanese Performance Mag in march 2009. This is one of only 2 cars like this in the uk. This was the first.
The car is currently running about 225 BHP at the fly and 199 BHP at the wheels. Have a print out to prove this.

Honda K20a2 uk spec
Hasports engine mounts
DC sports Manifold
2.5" custom Stainless steel exhaust
K&N typhoon induction kit
Still has air con
Transmission:
Six speed Type R gearbox
Integra DC5 shifter mechanism and cable
Suspension:
Civic EP3 front sub frame and suspension arms
EP3 anti-roll bars front and back
Tanabe sustec Pro DC5 Coilovers
DC5 power steering rack and pump
Brakes:
Integra DC5 Brembo front brakes/hub conversion
Civic EP3 rear disc conversion
EP3 brake master cylinder ans servo
Alloys:
Ep3 Type R alloys
4 New tyres were put on be for it's mot
Interior:
Factory fitted half- leather/ alcantara trim seats.
EP3 instrument cluster
DC5 steering wheel and air bag
EP3 6 speed gear ****
EP3 floor mats
Elec windows
Elec mirrors and heated
Elec sunroof
ICE:
It has a thatcham cat1 clifford alarm and immobiliser. Also has proximity censors (So if any1 gets to close is beeps at them)
Will put the standard cd player in the car
The car will have 6 months tax come the 1/1/2010 the mot runs out 16/07/2010. I have old mot's and tax discs for the car.
