Thought i'd post it on the off chance that someone might be interested.
Cliosport 172 basically the Cambelt has snapped and upon very brief inspection it'll be around £700-£800 to fix myself or £1,200 if I take it for a rebuild somewhere. I'm soon away for few weeks so no time to repair and need another car for her to run around in to get to work etc. as she can't drive my Impreza![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Judging on prices on fleaby and pistonheads these go for anywhere between £2,800 - £4,500 depending on mileage and condition. I'm taking the cheapest price of £2,800 and then taking half that figure so looking for £1,300 - £1,400 as it stands.
There is a dent in the rear left wing (pics) where someone hit it whilst it was parked up and buggered off.
Before the belt snapped it had new wheels, tyres, brake discs and pads, oil change, bearings, full custom exhaust system, O/S Front Strut.
Ideally looking to sell it as a whole but failing that will strip.
P.S I'm not a fan of the front grills either but they're a simple 2 clip replacement for OEM
Ideal for anyone maybe wanting a cheap fix runaround or to buy and sell on? I can even repair if needs be for worse case £800 for any potential buyer but not for about 3 weeks as I won't be in the UK.
Sorry photo's are a bit dark was taken last night once the car was trailered back home

Aye
if I had the time and money I'd keep it and do something like a TT Engine conversion but working away a lot soon and weddings not to far away and I want to be putting my money into the Impreza

Yes tax and test.
Ok i could be interested at £1000, i'm assuming that its HPI clear ?
I can collect no problem, but may take a few days.
What do you think ?

Yes it's fully HPI clear and been owned for around 2-3 years now.
So that I'm not wasting any of your time I'll be honest and say I've had an offer of £1,200, originally was hoping for nearer £1,500 but will let it go for £1,300.
Reason being anything less then and I'll fix it myself or strip it down and sell spares it's not the route I ideally want to go but with it already being a big financial hit and inconvinience I'd just bit the bullet further fixing than selling for any less.
I am really appriciative of your interest and potential offer though so I thank you for that.
