Varley Red Top 40 Batteries
Edit. I now have these available and they are RED TOP 30's not 40's as i prevoiusly thought....
Sealed 'gel-type' battery, no acid or water so ideally suited to a track day or race/rally car where battery will be mounted in the cockpit. Although these work equally well as a direct replacement in standard location.
Can be mounted any way up and extremely durable. Weight 9.5 Kgs. 25 Amp/hour. 6mm ring terminals.
These are approx. 4 months old and have never been used on a car.
Due to weight and safety, I cannot post these. They are to be collected from OX26 (Bicester, Oxon).
I have 4 available (from Sat 30th Jan) at the moment and have advertised to fellow Subaru owners on here first! .
Im looking for £80 each. Collected.
Just google image 'red top 30' for pic...
I can also make up professional battery power and ground cables if needed. Using flexible 170Amp cable, with properly crimped ring terminals for either battery earth/chassis ground/engine ground/starter etc etc. Ends are fully labelled and heatshrinked. Enquire via PM or at Robbied61@hotmail.com

Edit; Ive just taken delivery of these batteries and they are RED TOP 30's....
More suited to a track/race car as smaller and lighter than a 40 but still provide enough capacity to crank hot engine without risk of battery going flat.
