Hi John

Sounds like a nice car

Couple of questions?

Have you any idea what BHP improvement it gets with the superchip and the hybrid?

Is the service history full?

Got any piccys? If so can you email me as per profile.

Cheers, Nick

A typical superchipped Cally turbo is around a true 250BHP (1 bar boost)

198bhp at front wheels or four?

198 at four would suggest comfortable over 260bhp at flywheel.

Sorry to but in but i own a calibra turbo and the link to this thread is on Cavweb
Just a small pooint which i think is relevant
Vauxhall Calibra Turbo DTM
Genuine limited edition DTM's are white only
Year of manufacture was 1995 only
Reason for this was to celebrate the calibra winning the german touring car championship
Hence Deutsche Tourenwagen Motorsporten
Think u may have a aftermarket DTM kit on it About £500
as i said sorry to but in
Go and enjoy your scooby's
Wouldnt swap my calibra turbo for one tho mine has a factory irmischer bodykit and is forest green ( mettalic pearl green/purple/blue)
Was going to get a scooby but my budget was 6k
for that i could have bought an m plate locally tried it out quicker than calibra turbo up to 70 ish then the calibra leaves it (i have done this personally to a plate scooby my mates )
the thing that put me off was the asian taxi seats ie they look like they have argos £20 seatcovers on i love my cream leather mmmmmmmmmmmm
Hope i have helped here and mate if u have been sold this calibra as a gen dtm model sorry mate u have been ripped off

Ok mate u might not have been but it isnt a genuine DTM as they were only produced in 95/96
The one u have prob has an aftermarket dtm kit on it
DTM calibra turbos are higher on insurance as well DTM=group 18
Normal Calibra turbo=group 17
