Megger MFT1552 Electrical Tester
I have for sale a Megger MFT1552 Electrical installation tester. It is practically brand new. It was purchased when i was doing more installation work and has only been used once. it is in completely as new condition. i have all the paper work it came with including the original invoice. I purchased this for £546 and they still retail at about that price.
i am willing to sell for £375.
The tester was purchased 18/05/2007 and came with a calibration certificate from Megger dated 20/03/2007 which will come with the tester. i have not had it calibrated since due to it only being used the once since purchase.
i think the recommendation is that they are tested yearly, it is like new and even has the protective plastic on the screen still, it looks completely brand new. A calibration is normally about £70 and there is no reason it shouldn't pass. For peace of mind I'm willing to offer a 30 day refund if it does not pass calibration.
details are as follows...
• Guaranteed non-tripping loop test range
• Simple and intuitive to use
• Backlit display and selector ranges
• Illuminated Switch Probe
• Ergonomic design
• Illuminated Display

The Megger MFT1552, which includes useful additional facilities such as backlit display and range switches, plus the unique Megger illuminated switched probe.
The instrument is simple to use. Even with minimal experience of the instrument the operator can begin testing with complete confidence.
The unique modern styling of the instruments allows it to be operated whilst stood on the floor, a ledge, hung around the neck with the supplied neck strap, or held in the hand. The hand strap increases operational comfort and security further with all the test functions falling easily to hand.
The tough case provides enough protection to withstand the rough and tumble of daily use and to be stowed in a tool bag or in the carry case (Megger MFT1552).
