Default Whats it Worth? STI v4

Hi Guys,

Im thinking of doing something i never thought i would and sell my classic!

Now i have two options of return it to stock, however id rather save the effort and sell it as it is, however im wondering what its worth.

1998 STI V4 JDM 72k
Tons of history, i mean reams. inc recent cambelt and precautionary API modified oil pump.

The car itself was owned from new by the previous owner, ive had it a year.

If i were to sell it modded the mods would be:
Simtek with antilag and launch control (brand new and mapped by JGM)
BC Coilovers 6/5 track/weekend warrior spring rate. few months old with full fast road setup including corner weighted
Oz 17" Superleggers wrapped in Parada Spec 2s
AP 330mm BBK (calipers refurbed this week) - Brands new Disks with brand new Carbotech XP8 pads & Goodrich Braided hoses with fresh RBF600 fluid
API Modified Oil Pump
Walbro 255l race pump.

Whiteline ALK
Whiteline Steering Bushes
New Steering Rack & Track rod ends.

H&S & Janspeed full 3" decat with scoobysport style BB
DEI heatwrapped downpipe
CDF Turbo Blanket
Green Panel Filter

Samco cooling coses
PFR7B colder plugs

3 Dash gauges in pod, oil temp, pressure and boost
Sony 8 CD Changer.

v5 Front end inc crystal lights.

Serviced every few k with the best oil from Opie.

Bad points on the car is it has a few 10p dings. Thats it.

So selling as whole what do we rekon its worth? Seems about 4k without mods.

hmm 4500 is a bit low with all those mods. Probably more beneficial to put it back to standard and sell on then.

The car wont be for sale (if i decide too) for atleast another month.

Basically im at the stage where i want alot more power and track focused setup, im stuck between further modding the classic or starting with a strong base i.e. a spec C.

lol yeah ive only put the best bits on it so im sure they would sell well. All under 1 year old too so v good condition.

Id love to make this classic super quick, but the mods to make it 450 and track worthy will be quite a lot. Im thinking it would be better to buy something designed with that in mind to begin with. i.e. spec c ?

6 speed, clutch and forging will cost more than the car itself...

What do we rekon its worth standard? 3.5k advertise for 4?

Slightly OT (but a free bump nonetheless!). Do you have a dyno printout after the remap, or do you know how much power you made? Might be interesting for potential buyer. I'd like to know as I have a V4 STI and would like to get a Simtek when I have a job again. Plus you've got to put up a picture! Doesn't even say if it's the best colour, white!

If you decide to pull some things off and return a little bit of it to standard then give me a shout with a price on the Simtek and the AP calipers inc discs mate.

Thanks

Well might give it a go at selling as it is.

This pic was before the Coilovers were put on. Now its sitting much better.

I rekon for it to be worthwhile selling id need 5.5k for it.

Making 300bhp & torque with antilag and launch control. Only the best parts used on this car. This car has been well looked after its entire life and it shows.

I looked at around 20 imprezas, but when i saw this one a year ago i bought it instantly due to its excellent condition. even tho it wasnt white (colour i was after).

Car will be probably be up for sale in 2 weeks time. I think 5.5k for this car is pretty decent deal.

If there is no interest at around that level it will be returned to stock.

Id be hoping for near new cost for the simtek as its brand new
Ap id be looking for near 1k as its brand new carbotech XP8s, and new track disks, bells, custom Alloy adapters from CDF fully refurbished as new. Pads and disks have not even been used yet as calipers are still off the car.

Car is currently running stock 4 pots with DS2500 pads. Perfect for the road.

Would be nice to sell the car with all the mods still on it, it would save me quite a lot of work.

Anyone interested in the car or the bits send me a pm.

Thanks
