STi5 Type R
Hi All,
I’m reluctantly selling my 1999 “S” registration, Championship White, Subaru Impreza STi5 Type R, two door coupe.
It's a great, reliable, car, imported to the UK in 2000/1, and I have owned it for the last 4 years, but I no longer use it much as I have now needed to buy a more economical daily use car and can not justify keeping this on as well.
Standard features include;
• STi red-top engine
• 5 speed, close ratio gearbox
• Intercooler spray
• DCCD manual variable centre diff control
• STi suspension
• Air conditioning / climate control
• Electric windows
• Electric door mirrors with electric retracting mode
• STi sports seats & fitted mats
• Tinted rear glass
Enhancements include;
• MAF compatible induction kit & extra cold air bonnet scoop (better throttle response with no oiling issues with the Mass Air Flow sensor) (Original airbox & filer available)
• HKS De-cat exhaust
• Remapped to UK 99 RON fuel
• TD05 turbo (as opposed to a VF28 (which I have & can include as a spare) to give better mid & higher rev power)
• Walbro high flow fuel pump
• Aluminium radiator (more efficient & cooler running) & Samco coolant piping
• Uprated clutch
• Knock-link engine detonation detector
• Blitz Turbo Timer
• DBA front brake discs & Pagid pads
• Braided brake hoses
• 17" gold OZ multi-spoke wheels, with good Toyo PX4 tyres
• "P1 style" front additional driving light & side light combination
• Clear front & side indicators
• Oil temp, pressure & air/fuel ratio gauges
• Multimedia touchscreen stereo & amplifier
• Remote central locking, Alarm & Tracker
Mileage is 94,300, has service history and is custom mapped to run a safe conservative circa 330bhp on UK fuel & does 0-60 mph in around 4.5 secs, although somewhat embarrassingly I have never put the car through its paces on a track. General condition is good for its age, is HPI clear & has not suffered any accidents or damage.
I am asking £5,750 for the car which is located in Essex.
Thanks for any interest.
Ian

Cheers guys,
For the "eagle-eyed veiwers", yes, the spoiler.... Bit of a sore point. The original was stolen, albeit surprisingly carefully, a couple of years ago, presumably to be used on some chav-chariot..... At least I was "grateful" the thieves caused no damage. The original OEM spoiler was held on by plastic washers, which just broke releasing the spoiler.
Decided to replace with the version 6 as I preferred the upper lip shape.

Should also say, dont be put off by the Nurburgring graphics on the spoiler - the driver's been there, not the car
Got this for there...
