Default UK X reg forged 2.3 turbo. NEW PRICE 5700

I had this up earlier in the month but it has to go now. If I dont get a decent offer VERY close to my asking price, I will break it.

2000 X reg Impreza UK Turbo

Mot'd 6 month
Taxed 6 months

65,000 on the clock

I recently got the car dyno'd and its running 335/340 as this is the clutch on its maximum.

With a paddle clutch and remap, it'll be running close to 400/400. This was my plan for it but needs must.

This car is really a one off. There wont be one in the UK with this spec.

If i didn't already have a project car i would have had this......if you ever decide to break i would be interested in your engine....

Best of luck with the sale mate as she looks like a great car...

If I got a decent offer for the engine and could get the shell sold, I'd break it.

Is the engine based on the EJ22T closed deck block, is it running a 79mm Crank?

Baly give mark at lateral performance a call he sells built 2.35 as a package or a bare 2.2 but has to be a sold with a set of pistons and rods.

And to the OP what do you class as a decent offer for the engine?

If you were willing to split I would possibly put a post
up of what big parts you will sell off first and for how much?

I believe it is a cdb but I'd need to check with the previous owner who had all the work done.

I wouldnt like to insult people or under price the engine as I simply dont know what its worth. Its not something you see everyday for sale.

I'd need to get a 2nd opinion or perhaps a member could PM me a round price?

As a guide a bare 2.2cdb, with no machine work done go for around £800

If its just normal ej22 cases its not worth a whole lot less, you really need to establish if the engine is a true EJ22T stroked to 2.33/35 or just a legacy 2.2block with forged pistons and rods on a 75mm crank. There will be a massive difference in prices mate

Under £6k seems a bargain for someone for this car complete! How many miles has the engine done if clock reads 65k?
