1999 audi S4 avant quattro
For sale is my ming blue 1999 audi S4 avant quattro.
This is a great car to own and drive whilst being quick and comfortable with the 265bhp/295lbft 2.7 v6 bi turbo engine. I am only selling due to receiving a 5 per cent pay cut and a reduced fuel allowance. I am selling the s4 and my diesel van then in turn want either a 330d or a golf gt tdi so if anybody wants a swap or part ex then i would interested.
Details:
The engine is very quiet and smooth with no boost leaks at all. I have fitted a new throttle body boot as these parts are prone to splitting. Mileage has just clocked round to 130169 and has full main dealer service history, last serviced at 124982 miles. The engine is never laboured from cold or untill oil is at 80 degrees and the turbos are always driven off boost for the last few miles of a journey.
The interior is in good condition and is cream/white leather with a carbon fibre insert trim. 6 Speed manual, cruise control, bose upgrade and climate, air con and also a factory glass sunroof.
I have just fitted new rear discs and pads on the rear and the front disks have little wear. Also a new battery has been fitted.
Car drives 100% with suspension being firm but forgiving, no creaks, rattles, knocks anywhere. Transmission is good with no whining from anywhere.
Bodywork is in very good condition and comes up really well with a polish. There are no dents anywhere. There is a light scratch on the front passenger bumper and a small scuff also on the front drivers side. Hardly any marks on the sides of the car.
The car is totally standard and i was on the verge of getting her remapped but really now need one car that will do 45mpg and ferry the family around
Tax and mot'd untill june but will consider putting a further 12 months mot on if asking price or close to it is met. Hpi clear with printout.

Used it for work the other day, 80 mile round trip with the cruise control set at 69mph i got 33 mpg, thats 65% motorway and the rest b roads just tootling along, probably could get more on a longer run but driving normally with a heavy foot i manage about 28mpg. These can also be remapped at mrc tuning for £500 which will give you 320bhp and 400lbt and better mpg
Yes it has the bose concert sound system with cd changer in the boot and insurance is £40 more than my impreza uk ppp'd turbo i owned before this and im 33.

440bhp? so you had the ko4's on there then!
would love to go down this route myself but with three cars on the drive its the weekend toy that has go for a hopefully not so boring diesel

Forgot to ask, is you car an S, T or V reg.... as I have a private plate to use!!
