sounds like you had a good result to be honest i fluked it when i bought mine, think it was about £120 or something like that.
a lot more people know what they are now and prices can reflect that, but the ones i've seen go recently some of the prices have cooled down a bit. pot luck really.
that would be my advice aswell, some have gone for silly money and others normal backbox prices. clean it up well and do a good add and you should get a nice amount
and if you're after a std sti backbox buy from ebay aswell, they can't give them away

from what i can remember when i made one on mine, the prodrive is about half the volume of the genome.
it's hard to say across the rev range as i don't consider the genome that loud until you go beyond 3k revs, but the prodrive is a lot quieter when you're flying along.
unless you're having to go std for some reason or another i'd go for an aftermarket b/box, unless someone gives you a std box for free, because the std sti b/box is pathetic when it comes to noise. compared to the genome you'll wonder if the engine is running

****Exhaust update****
I have spoken to the previous owner of my car today regarding the exhaust.
It has been on the car for two years and he imported it from Japan.
Cheers

Still interested but I'm in West London. I will be up in Manchester in a few weeks so let us know if you're still up for a deal if nothing happens with one of the closer guys

Getting a Genome backbox for £90 and a Prodrive backbox is a bargain. I'd check your Genome for damage. If it's got no dents in it from where it's hit a speed bump or something then I'd put it up on ebay with a £200 reserve. You should get about £250-£300 as previously mentioned (as long as it doesn#'t have any damage).
One just sold on ebay which had a pretty big dent in it for £130.
Basicaly a good example genome should fetch you over £200 a poor example about £150.
A good prodrive back box will cost you about £100. I sold mine for £125 which was in mint condition and had only covered a few hundred miles.
