It is the vent to atmosphere.

Hi Stevie.

Presume this'll fit a 1996 UK car?(pre-facelift)

Is it fairly easy to fit?

I've heard various stories ref dump valves, some bad ref high coninual high revving whilst idling and others ref stalling whilst idling. How did you find it?
