Default My V3 STI Type-RA

**Sold **

Due to a move to London, up for sale is my much loved V3 WRX STI Type-RA. A tidy and nicely modified example of one of the most sort after Imprezas. Thw car is HPI clear and has been 100% reliable during my 1.5 years of ownership.

The car has all the usual RA refinements inducing: Intercooler water sprayer (now modified to spray the FMIC), DCCD, Roof vent, quick steering rack and alloy lightweight bonnet.

Modifications

Engine

Trust Greddy front mount inter cooler (worth £560)
Trust Greddy Induction kit
Albertross mapped by J.Road ECU chip
Apexi AVC-R Black Ltd Ed Boost controller
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
100 cell custom made sports CAT
Custom straight through exhaust with muffler and baffle
STI forged pistons
Automatic turbo timer

Handling
Almost new BC BR coilovers that have done less than 200 miles
Witeline 24mm adjustable anti-roll bar -rear
Witeline 22mm anti-roll bar -front
Polyurethane steering rack bushes
Red stuff brake pads all round with plenty of lit left -fronts cost over £90 alone.
Birded break hoses

Aero/styling
After market front end with built in splitter (unknown make -came with the car from Japan)
Site skirts unknown make -as above
The car currently has 16” Speedline Corse (I think) wheels with good tread. I also have the same wheels in 17” but the tyres have less tread. The buyer can have a choice of which set they want with the car or can have both sets for an extra £180.
PIAA carbon Aero wipers

Interior
Pod of three Greddy gauges: oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature -these gauges cost over £150 each
Piler pod containing 2x Omni gauges showing boost and exhaust temperature. Exhaust temperature probe currently not connected.
Nardi torino steering wheel
Standard set of three gauges below stereo
Sony flipping CD/MP3 player.
Shift light
Sabelt four point harness

Security
Viper 480 XV CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser/pager with 2 fobs
'Tracker' tracker (currently inactive but I have all the required documents if you would like to make use of it)

Other
Minor weigh reduction (about 5kgs of unnecessary sound deadening removed from beneath and behind the rear seats)

Mileage: 67,000
MOT: 29th August 2010
Tax: Currently expired

Servicing
This car has been well looked after and has had a full service inc cambelt all in the past 3 years.

Oil/filter, coolant and gearbox oil (front and rear) all changed at 64,000
Cambelt, tensioner and pulleys changed at 65,000
It also had new DOT 5.1 break fluid and break pads all round at around 65,000
New coilpack, NKG BKR6E plugs and HT leads within the last 6 months
Brand new battery fitted January this year

Performance.
I haven't had it dyno'ed since fitting the boost controller (it made 287 witout) but I would estimate power to be between 310 and 335bhp depending how aggressive the MAP is. With the anti-roll bars and coilovers, the handling really is trainesque.

£4,900

The car is located near Cambridge.

Only genuine interest please.

Cheers guys

Yeah I do like it on the 17s. They also have 225mm wide tyres which are very grippy but weigh about 6kg more per wheel.
