The engine is still available. It came out of my MY99 UK Turbo 2000 which was built in December 1999.

Is the ECU still available? I was under the impression that the MY99 ECU couldn't be remapped?

Also do you know if the exhaust downpipe and centre section would fit with an original backbox (or backbox replacement)? I already have a H&S replacement back box.

Thanks!

The ecu is available but I have a lad from Greece who is very interested in it. The MY99 ecu can be remapped by Ecutek but this one was remapped by ChippedUK on their rolling road (with graph to prove). I don't know what software they used but the car made 267bhp on a TD04 with sti8 top mount, walbro 255 pump, decat 2.5" system and induction kit.

The downpipe and centre section will mate up with a replacement or standard backbox because it's a 2.5" system as per standard. You'd just need to fit a turbo gasket and exhaust gasket where it joins to the backbox (I'll chuck in the exhaust gasket if you buy both parts).

Thanks for the info. How much would you want for the downpipe, centre section and ECU? Would you be willing to post?

I'd have to check postage costs but I'd be after £100 for the downpipe and centre section plus some postage and the ecu MAY be sold. I'll get back to you with postage costs tomorrow and whether or not the ecu is sold.

Thanks for the quick reply. I wouldn't want to spend that much on the exhaust parts but please keep me informed on the ECU. Cheers!

Everbody is entitled to their own opinions. All I know is mine was mapped on their rolling road and I have a printout to prove it and the car pulled stronger afterwards.
