Default Reversed Inlet Manifolds

I'm gauging interest on these reversed inlet manifolds to suit 1992-96 cars. I asked a coleague of mine
who has worked with aluminium for over 20 years to come up with a reversed inlet manifold. He fabricates
alloy header and fuel tanks to customers requirements.

The following pictures are what he came up with, basicly a prototype of what i asked of him. The original
throttle body mounting was cut off and welded up (not bolt plated) and the other side was milled. The
current throttle body mounting was machined out of a solid block of aluminium which is stepped, then welded
up. This gives more clearence and will need less pipework. Like i said, this is only a prototype, and can be
fabricated to your own requirements, the manifold can be adapted to suit either a left or right throttle side,
again to suit your needs.

The finished manifold is then bead blasted to give that new look, again up to what you require. I can supply
these on an exchange basis, basicly you send me your inlet, and i'll have the work done for you.

What i need is a few names who would be interested, as the more people i can get who want the work done, the better
the prices i can offer.
Please send a pm for more details and prices.

Cheers, Steve.

Steve why not just chop the flange off the manifold and then weld it onto the front thats the way most are done. The problem with the new flange you have welded on is it then makes the bend required much tighter. I have put some pics below of mine which may help explain what i mean.

Yes, we did talk about that after he'd finished it which was the first time i saw the manifold. Like i said, the one pictured is only a prototype, we did dissuss that the block of aluminium could be smaller and flush with the body. Again, all this will be up to the customers requirements, however you want it, it can be fabricated to suit.
