Default 2.2 Stroker Evo VI RSII Huge Spec over 600bhp, Magazine Featured

Ok I have just listed my car on pistonheads, and thought i'd put it on here too.

HOWEVER PLEASE NO COMMENTS ON THE PRICE AS IT'S MY CAR AND I DECIDE HOW I WANT TO PRICE IT, thanks.

Right, well where do I start?

I have owned this car for nearly 3 years now, and over the last couple of years, I have slowly upgraded it, originally my intension was to just modify it to stage 1 spec and leave it at that.

However things didn't go to plan.

The car is an official Ralliart UK car, which was first registered in December 2001.

It has covered a total of 43,000 miles from new, however most parts have been changed in the last 2 years and therefore have covered much less mileage.

The bodywork of the car is in fantastic condition.

There are no dents, scrapes or scratches, no rust and no misaligned panels.

The paintwork is in fantastic condition too.

Ok the spec of the car is as follows:

I think that is most of it, sure I've forgotten a few bits and pieces though.

The car has been loved and very well looked after.

As you can see from the spec, everything has been done properly and no corners have been cut.

I have lots of Dyno graphs for the car, from various states of tune over the last few years, but as it stands in it's current spec it is producing 623bhp / 535ftlb at only 2bar of boost, and 508bhp / 400ftlb at only 1.3bar (Wastegate Pressure) on a Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road (which are known to give lower readings than other makes of Dyno, however there well regarded to give True readings of a cars power).

The Car has MOT until December 2010 and the Tax expires at the end of November 2010.

It is HPI Clear, and has Full Mitsubishi / Ralliart Service History up to the point I bought the car at 30,000 miles in 2007.

It has only done 2000 miles since the engine was built, which means the engine, and turbo have had very little use, as the engine was ran in for 1000 miles, and then shortly afterwards the clutch was replaced and therefore I had to run that in for another 200 miles, before being able to use any boost or high revs.

I only use Silkolene Pro S 5w40 Engine Oil, Genuine Mitsubishi Oil Filters, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs and Silkolene Gear Oils.
The oil and filter are changed every 500 - 600 miles and the gear oils were done at the same time as the engine went in, and redone when the clutch was changed approx 3 - 4 weeks ago.

The only bad points to note are:
Both Front Wheel Arch liners are worn, where they have caught on the front tyres under heavy braking (seems to be pretty common on lowered Evo's).
Front Bumper has a couple of marks on it.

The Car has recently been the Cover Car and Featured in Total Evolution.

Any inspection is welcome, however no test drives (but I am happy to take any seriously interested buyers for a drive).

SINCE TAKING THE PICS THE AIRCON HAS BEEN REMOVED.

Price is £22500 ovno, and I could be interested in a PX/SWAP for something upto the same value as my car.

The bottom end was built by Ajec racing (where I used to work) and the head was done by a company called Race Developments.

I mapped it myself on the dyno and then tweaked it on the road (I did most of there evo mapping when I was there).

Minted mate. Its hard to fault a good evo, and that looks the muts nuts....I hope it sells, but like everything else, to get yer cash back you usually need to break them.

Can't believe you've spent all that money on it before realising it was all a big mistake and you should sell up and buy a scoob instead........

Seriously though, that's an amazing car with an epic spec!! My mate is after a white evo (although with a slightly more modest budget than this requires) and he's practically touching himself right now!

Good luck with the sale pal - don't break it if you're in no rush, someone will come along and offer you proper money for it for sure

Awesome car!

How do you rate the FK452's for road use, mate? I've heard good things but wonder about downsides, with it being a cheap option.

Cheers, the 452's are great imo, for the money I can't complain, in the dry I have no traction issue's even on high boost once i'm into 3rd.

In the damp there lots of fun, but very predictable, and in the wet again they are fine, just have to watch what my right foot is doing a little.

They ain't great in the snow tho
