As I have never run one of these I cannot give you honest accurate information but this turbo is specifically intended for a 2 litre although it will also work well on a 2.5 obviously but I expect it is a very genuine 420 bhp turbo.

I would think injectors, fuel pump, fpr, fmic and a remap - I think sti tmic is only good for 400...

very tempted to fit this to my 2002 sti, but missus has said that in 6 months I can get a new STi so going to wait for that!!

Ps. I have a set of 650cc injectors that I recently bought from milleniumracer that I no longer need

Here is the APS sales blurb :

Unencumbered by the limitations of current off the shelf Subaru turbochargers, APS has totally engineered a series of turbochargers from the ground up to match the exact requirements of high performance Subaru 2.0L and 2.5L engines.

High strength compressor wheel design and high nickel content turbine housing means complete reliability to high pressure ratios - And since nobody likes to wait, the APS SS Series turbochargers are designed for fast spool-up to deliver crisp turbocharger response and mountains of torque.

Best of all, SS turbochargers are complete bolt on. Simple hook up of all factory connections and full compatibility with high performance stock position inlet/exhaust means that the installation of your APS SS Series turbocharger is truly no hassle.

The APS SS45 and SS42 turbochargers employ identical compressor design, dimensions and charge air flow. The difference is in the turbine housings - which in the case of the SS45 turbocharger, a larger A/R results in higher exhaust gas flow capacity for powerful 2.5L engines.

If you want ballistic power and outstanding turbocharger reliability in a truly bolt on high performance and affordable unit, then the APS SS Series turbocharger is the perfect choice.

APS SS42 Turbocharger - P/N 920-060-460 APS SS45 Turbocharger - P/N 920-060-475
Designed with a smaller turbine housing primarily for 2.0L engines. Large turbine housing to suit higher exhaust gas flow of 2.5L engines.
This is intended to be a 350 WHP turbo ie. 420 bhp fly.

Obviously you need the right injectors and a Walbro fuel pump would be wise. I do not see why you would need a fuel pressure regulator however. The intercooler would depend on model and year. A remap obviously.
I can get these on a regular basis plus the SS45 intended for 2.5 litre but the price will be very much influenced with the exchange rate.

You could run it with ported headers and matched uppipe or go to GT Spec tubular. However it will run on O/E headers but an upgrade will obviously result in more power.

hi harvey hope all is well, how would this turbo compare to a 20g or a md321h........ ?
3" milltek (no cat)
ported headers
k&n panel
standard sti top mount
fuel pump

do you think a safe 380 brake could be achieved with this set up without affecting spool ?

I think you will get over 400 bhp subject to who maps it and what rollers you use. This will be more than your OE pink injectors can handle so I would guess without an injector change 380 would be the top limit and the injectors would be the limiting factor.
As regards spool, assuming you have a VF35 I think it will be similar or marginally behind but with a lot more on top.
I think this turbo will outperform your average TD05 20G and MD321H from what I can see but I have not acyually run this turbo. It is new in a box etc.

So £999 is a real good deal as exchange rate between Leeds and Darlington is 1:1
