Saab 93 Aero Hot 250+bhp Fecking quick wolf in sheeps clothing.
I love these cars and this is my third on these and by far this is the best and most certainly the quickest, and any bit as quick as a 300bhp scoob. Someone please buy this quick and remove the temptation to keep.
133K, Full Service History, 12 MONTHS MOT Spare wheel, wheel locking nut tool, tool kit all present. All usual Aero refinements, Leather interior, traction control, climate control, heated electric memory seats, cruise control etc.
It is MOT'd until April 2011 and taxed until July 2010.
New Battery in January 2010
New clutch in 2008
Last year it had:
90,000 service
New front brakes
Direct Ignition Cartridge replaced (Aug 08, Saab warrenty replacement)
4 Tyres
Abbott Racing Mods:
ECU Remap (approx 40bhp increase)
Abbott Racing Springs
Koni Adjustable Shock Absorbers (adjustment tools included)
Racing Catalytic (10bhp increase)
K & N Air Filter
Full Viggen Rescue Kit including:
Steering Rack Clamp / Bulkhead Brace
Polyurethane Track Control Arm Bushes
Support Arm Bearing Kit
Stainless Steel Sub-frame Brace
Motorsports brake discs and pads
All in all, about £3k of mods including VAT and fitting. http://www.abbottracing.net/category.php?id_category=20
Additional stuff on the car.
Walnut wood dash, gear **** and steering wheel.
Dynamat Extreme sound deadened boot and car doors.
Extra 3rd rear headrest, looks odd without all 3 as the holes are there for 3, just only supplied with 2 of them.
The bad bits.
The car is 8 yrs old and has a few stone chips in the bonnet and 2 small chips in the windscreen from motorway driving.
Drivers side top mount is a little cloniking, I have a new top mount that can come with the car for someone else to fit.
The car is rust free, no timing chain rattle, no funny noises, no oil loss I know of.
All for £2495 ovno.

No worries, part of me wants to keep it as it really is a nice car to drive with the build quality and comfort to rival a BMW, and it really does pack a punch that constantly astounds me. I even popped the bonnet the other day to check it was running a stock turbo
I will advertise it properly soon, and hope it goes soon as I could just as easily be happy driving this as apposed to my newly acquired 2.1 Engine tuner sti8 440/410 which sais an awful lot about this car.

Bump - Have had the paint scrap sorted at the front, along with the dint, and had 1 wheel refurbed which was a bit tatty.
This car took me to le-man and back recently without fault, and very suprsingly kept up and even beat my mates E46 M3 at certain points, and was bumper to bumper to the 997 C4S so is a freak and very quick saab.
Sensible thing sais keep it, but fancy a change again and something small and nippy.

lol - I get bored easily love the saab and its tick all the boxes for me right now, but can't help myself and still fancy a change again. So as above still for sale if I can get very close to the asking price. If not I'm more than happy to keep running with this.

Would consider sensibly priced good honest Scoobs, MR2 turbos, Cheap S2000s, Z3 2.8/3.0, elise, MX5, early golf 5 door GTI turbo. Or possibly something ordinary and boring that seats 5 people but really cheap with a chunk of cash my way just to give me some wheels until I work out what I do want.
Have to say though - I've looked at 2 scoobs over 2 days having covered several miles to look at them, and were both a pile of Poo and it meant throwing in a fair amount of money into a deal for what was a dog of a car, and far worse than the saab, and were slower than the saab.
There is too much rubbish about these days, and I'm coming back round to the idea of better the devil you know, and by all accounts my car is proper mint compared to what others claim as VGC / superb condition...

Got myself a S2000 as of last night. So not looking for PX's now and could do with an outright sale. Its on Fleebay for £2995 with best offer. I will take offers on this, but I have a price in mind that any less and I will mothball it until the winter or dual insure it.

Part of me wished I had kept the M3, as I think even I underestimated how clean that one was and very nearly considered a M3 convertible SMG but was more than I was looking to spend. The S2000 is a very different proposition from scoobs and different again from the M3. Its a proper little zippy toy, which is huge fun which is just the ticket for me right now.

Would PX/swap with a tidy genuine scoob. I can't put any more into a deal though. I would take on a scoob to use as a winter hack later in the year. A late MY98/99/00 UK classic saloon or wagon would be ideal, mileage not a concern so long as its been looked after.
