Default FS - Wifes Pristine E46 2001 BMW 318i SE

As per title really

Its the facelift 2001 model with the N42 2.0L 16v valvetronic engine (~150bhp) not the weezy 8v. Its far quicker and better on fuel. Plus it has the facelifted bodywork/kit etc. Very economical

Its done a genuine 81k from new and has FSH and old mots and paperwork - A large portion is BMW main dealer SH and then later in its life its had BMW Indy specialists. 12 months mot and about 8 months tax.

Its titanium silver in colour and is all original paint, no scuffs, dents or scratches whatsoever. There is light stonechipping to the front end but hardly noticable as its silver

Interior is charcoal cloth, seats are multi adjustable. Being the SE or 'special equiptment' lol then it has a host of goodies - Digital climate control, cruise control, M/F steering wheel with stereo control, phone and cruise buttons on it. CD radio and a nice sound from the multiple speakers.

It drives absolutely beatifully - very very smooth, responsive and precise. I own a subaru and when i have driven the wifes car then it dosent feel slow and underpowered at all, sure its not mental fast with a healthy turbo kick but it picks up really well, revs clean and smooth and is very responsive when motorway cruising too. Steering is true, straight with no wobbles or pulling - dead straight and smooth.

Maintenance wise then its wanted for nothing and anything needed we have had done - in our ownership we have had new clutch and dual mass flywheel (£900 ouch) new dunlop sport tyres, new front and rear discs, pads and handbrake pads as well as insection 1 and 2 services. It will be serviced next week too.

It really is a great car to own and drive, gives 40+mpg and is in remarkable condition throughout. Only selling as she now has an X3 wich is bigger and more suited to the family life with our recent baby boy and all his prams, seats, toys etc etc. We have hung onto it for a whil and not wanted to sell but its a shame not to be using it.

It has a private plate on at the moment which will be removed prior to sale. It will go back to its '51 plate reg. FYI its a 2002MY facelift.

I will get some pics sorted soon but if anyone is interested let me know asap as when i get the pics it will be going on PH, AT and the bay!
