That is the cleanest 98 I've seen in a long while.
You've underpriced by a fiver according to Glass's guide
Good luck with the sale,
JC.

For David Price.

I have been offered 11.5k from Lancatser Subaru and a Honda S2000 dealer in Chicester as a Standard car. That is less back box, RB5 wheels and tyres, Kenwood head unit, Clear lenses and front spots.

So, give me 11.5k for the standard car and its yours and I will happily sell the bits on to raise the additional £500.

I have no wish to denegrate any other cars on here for sale but remember that this one is still under warranty, is a UK car, has only me as the owner and has been garaged its entire life. The history of the car in paperwork form covers everything from the initial order to the last service on the 11th March 2002. Add to this that the mileage is only 26k (and this is made up of almost entirely scooby events because it has never been used for commuting or the Sainsburys shopping trips!), the cambelt has benn changed too (at 36 months) and you have a car that will be very inexpensive (for a Scooby) to maintain for the next couple of years.

How can a MY98 still be under warranty?
Can you now extend them past the manufacturers 3 years?
Just curious that's all.

Question

I cannot believe this has not sold. This car is immaculate. I assume nobody has taken a look, because if they had it WOULD be sold.

Sorry Burnside - no mail. You can call me if you want on 07973 231586.

David - Its a sticker from the Nurburgring in Germany. The car has been there once and yes its been round the ring but as anyone will take pleasure in telling you, I was VERY slow! Thats my driving and not the motor of course

Ill admit its nice, but ive seen so many other 98 cars with more mods for under £10k. What am I missing?
I will shortly have £12k cash to look and spend on a Scooby, Evo or Supra 6speed. What makes this car worth the extra price that I could put against the extra insurance of a £11k STI5 for two years?.

To be honest, if it was me, for the sake of £500 Id let the Sussex dealer's take it, although I assume that IS your point.

P.S you were VERY, VERY slow round the ring! LOL

P.P.S I really need a clean, unmolested, unmodified car, last thing i need is modified engine etc. I can make that up anyway with my driving (most days ). My Sport is very similar in condition, mint 98 with extended waranty and 36K on the clock so i am looking for something similar but in a turbo, looks ideal.

Thumbs down

Hol - I would have thought you would get more for a v5 STi than 11k unless it is very high miles and not in good condition.
cberry - good luck with the sale!

Go on John, you know you want to then just take out insurance with liverpool victoria as they quoted me 330 quid under anyone else so far (the anyone else happened to be direct line who were still cheaper than tescos!)
