CLOSED DECK ENGINE ON EBAY
I KNOW THIS AS I WENT TO BUY IT
REASON I DIDN'T BUY, I NEEDED A RUNNING MOTOR AND ITS ALITTLE TIGHT
BUT DEFFO A CLOSED DECK HAS ALL THE CHECKERS
IT COMES COMPLETE WITH COIL PACK MANIFOLD INLET MANIFOLD I NO THIS IS CHEEKY IF ANYONE BUYS THIS MOTOR OF MY POST CAN THEY SELL ME THE COILS PACKS CHEAP AM IN MUCH NEED OF THEM AND FUNDS ARE VERY LOW

No engine with a td04 is closed deck, its always open deck as the closed are from an RA

I NEEDED A WORKING ENGINE AND THIS IS NOT A RUNNING ENGINE

IVE SEEN IT LIKE I SAID IN THE POST I NEED A GOOD BLOCK OR ENGINE I CAN SPOT A CLOSED DECKER AT 100 YARDS M8 NEVER FAILD YET
PS IF YOU KNOW YOUR STUFF THE TURBO HE SELLING IS A FRONT MOUNT AND DON'T BE LONG WITH THAT ENGINE.
I REST MY CASE BUT ANY ONE LOOKING FOR A CLOSED DECK YOU HAVE ONE THERE AND ITS CHEAP

mine closed deck it 1993 wrx early scoobys i think 1992 til 1994 used closed decks they also have td05 s

MINES A LEGO CLOSED DECK 93 94 AND AM TELLING YOU CHAPS THAT LINK IVE PUT UP IS A CLOSED DECK I WAS THE ONE TRYING TO TURN IT OVER WITH A WHEEL BRACE HE HAD ON THE FLOOR, JUST ABOUT TO LOAD IT INTO THE BACK OFF MY CAR AS I WAS GIDDY IDE FOUND A DECKER WENT TO TURN IT WITH MY HANDS NOT A CHANCE HE HAD A WHEEL BRACE ON THE FLOOR I TRIED TO TURN IT AND IT WAS WELL TIGHT BUT TURNED SO I STOPPED AS I DIDN'T WANT TO DO ANY MORE damage WAS WELL PISSED OFF BUT HE DECENT LAD JUST KNOW FORK ALL ABOUT SUBARU AS HE ADMITTED

Well by the looks of things youve already been and inspected the block and it has the cross hatchings in the right places, the bloke selling it need's better pictures to convince everybody else though.

With it being the early unpainted manifold theres every chance it could from a V1-V2 STi so probably is a CDB if thats the case.

Ive emailed the chap and told him he needs to show the checker around the oil pump and bell housing also above the oil pump but am not sure if he will find the oil pump as his words i know nothing about Subaru's.

I don't know any STI's with a td04 turbo!

wwould my v4 uk heads fit this block including manifold, and wiring etc basically i just want to use the bottom end (rods, pistons etc)

Well yeh it would be fine if the bottom end is built to stock spec....but why buy a closed deck block and just build a stock unit....if thats all you want fella just build a standard open deck unit.

350 on an obd isnt a problem mate

and give the geeza a break he`s only trying to help

and dont early wrxs have the cdb afaik the wrx ra v1,2 has one

Give who a break mate? I was simply putting over my point in thinking that it would be a better bottom end on which to put the rest of my gear thaw alibi was thinking but if there ain't much point then I'll keep with what I have and maybe do a closed deck fully forged block at a later date, thanks for the info guys cheers lee

i didnt mean you -lol, looking at my post i can see why you thought that


btw you can run upto 450hp on an obd, some have run more

cdb for 450 plus really
