hi there, i have a 04 plate sti, does this fit, how easy is it to fit and what sort of noise did it make, did it give you any running problems because a lot of people on here say not to fit one, please be as honest as you can!

I scratched the itch of having the DV, my wife made a sarcycomment about the noise it makes, so in the interests of marital bliss, off it came! I had no problems running it, I had a Turbosmart before and had problems with it dumping slowly, probably a lazy spring(?). People do say not to fit one, but only you can be the true judge. As i said, the Forge gave me no problems.
As for fitting, it is two bolts, off comes the old one, pipe removed off bottom, and bung put in its place. New DV fitted, and vacuum pipe pushed onto little pipe.

It comes with the bung, and is as new, I bought it used but it was pristine and is the same now. The good thing about the Forge is that it can be stripped down and cleaned/lubed, and Forge themselves are very good with the customer service, even if you didnt buy it from them!

so then how loud is it, at what revs does it start to dump, are you interested in offers, where about in Oxon are you, thanks for all your help! How long do you think it will take to fit!!

I am in Carterton, just off the A40 before Witney. It is not mega loud, you can hear it from inside the car, and it dumps dependant on how much boost you spool up, as far as Im aware (Im sure I will be given guidance on the operation of the BOV soon!). Offers within reason, and we could fit it here if you wanted, it takes 10-20 mins dependant on how much of a biff I am on the day!
