Last time I weighed a set of 16's in (2-3 month back now) I got £40, but they wont take them with tyres on, so you have to remove them yourself... which isnt the easiest.

I recall nearly putting a scaffhold bar through my windscreen trying to do it

I've got a 17" gold STi rim that's knackered sitting in the shed that I'm wondering what to do with. Guess it will end up down the tip in the metal skip.

alloys wheels about £1.10 a kilo 16s are about 7-8 kilo each.....tyres an old carvin knife or stanley knife round the side wall...most scrap yards happy to take like that as they dont have too pay to dispose of the tyrs ..the bit you leave on they will gillotine off or stihl saw .......DONT GIVE THE TO SCRAP LADS OR PIKEYS AS YOU MAY FIND THEYLL COME BACK WEN YOUR NOT ABOUT AND TAKE STUFF YOU DO WANT.......
