Hi Banny, will this fit my 56 hawkeye wagon 2.5? Will I still need the sump etc. Also what sort of power would I be looking at with a remap and this fitted? Any other mods needed? Lots of questions sorry. James

Yes James it will fit but you should not need the sump as Im sure the hawkeye has a twin scroll sump. Power wise if you used a decat down pipe I would say about 340/360 with close to 400lb/ft of torque with your car being a 2.5.

However your gearbox may not be too happy with this sort of power.....

Thanks Banny, I don't really fancy gearbox problems. When I contact Andy Forrest about his remaps with turbo's he said the transmission on a hawkeye wrx was good to about 360 BHP. I need to do a bit more searching I think.

James

James I am not too up on the later 5 speeds but it would be worth asking Andy, if the gearbox will cope with 400lbft of torque. That is the important question.

Its all about the JDM twin scroll set up... that plus a map see's you to the figures banny quoted.

Its a very good power:money ratio
