If you do get offers for the heads and you can spilt it, what do you want for the bottom end and is it compatibale with my 2002 STI Type UK heads etc?
Im not that clued up on the difference between UK and JDM bottom ends, or are they both the same?

I would be looking at about £1500 for the short engine and yes they will mate up with your heads. The pistons are hypereutectic and the crank is a cross drilled nitrided item, those are the main differences over UK engine.

Im just awating feedback regarding the issues with my current motor, then i need to decided upon the diagnosis to what im doing with the car. I'll get back intouch this week if the bottom end on mine is terminal.
