Built 2.5Ltr with V5 STi Ported heads
I have a built 2.5 Ltr long engine for sale.
It's covered 5000 miles and is in good working order.
Spec as follows...
EJ25 Block
Standard 79mm crankshaft
ACL Race Big End and Main Bearings
STi9 Rods
Wiseco Forged Pistons
ARP Headstuds
Modified 10mm Oil Pump
STi5 Cylinder Heads - Ported and Polished
Modified Combustion Chambers to suit the increased bore of the 2.5
Supertech Stainless Inlet Valves, and Inconel Exhaust Valves
Standard STi5 Camshafts, Valve Springs, Buckets, Shims etc
New Valve Stem Seals
Built by Pete Whitfield (who has done work for Zen, Lateral etc)
The motor is in excellent working order, holds good oil pressure, has very good leakdown results, and does not consume excessive amounts of oil like some 2.5's do
Currently still fitted to my car, so that any prospective buyer can hear it running prior to purchase.
Looking for £2000 for the long motor.
Please PM me if you're interested

It will fit, but you'll need a set of inlet adaptors from here - http://www.carldavey.co.uk/product.php?id=16
You'll also need modify your inlet manifold, as per the details in the link.

This motor is good for 450 to 475 hp and ftlb.
I don't really want to split it - If you want to do a deal with Midlife, you could buy the whole thing from me

How about 2K for the complete engine - Then you make an arrangement to split the cost accordingly with the buyer of the short motor

Then I will have to pay for Rob at Stan Palmer to split the engine and send the bottom end on it's way north.......as well as having to pay for you to ship it here to Carlisle .
It would be cheaper for me to ship my non-AVCS WRX heads to Paul Finch for the head work
Tricky
