400bhp Evo 8 Stunning car
Selling up due to work arrangements
For sale is my modded EVO 8 260, I have had it for about 14 months but a new job without travel expenses means it needs to go.
Here is a rundown
Approx 57,000 miles
First registered 24/06/2004
I am the 4th owner the first owner was Mitsubishi themselves
Dealer service history, upto 12/03/2009 at 20,855 miles, all oils were replaced, AYC was fully serviced, spark plugs were also replaced.
Since then I have done my own servicing which has consisted of oil and filter changes every month (I have done approx 35 thousand miles in a year), and the gearbox and diff oils have been changed twice in that time, and the ayc fluid once. Also the spark plugs have been changed again as well.
Always warmed up and cooled down correctly
Always ran on Vpower or Tesco 99 its fine on either (although mainly run on vpower)
Great condition for age with no dents or scratches (that I am aware of) but it does have some small stone chips. I have regulary used blackfire cleaning products, including polish / wax and deep gloss.
Both sets of keys and alarm fobs present along with some mitsubishi card with a code (I think its manual imobiliser override)
Never damaged or been financed
Engine mods:
Full 3 inch exhaust, miltek down pipe and decat / Cobrasport exhaust about 1 year old
HKS RSK induction kit
HKS 272 cams (new cam/balancer belt kit, cam seals) fitted at 19,847 miles
HKS hard pipe kit
Black AVCR boost controller (in glove box)
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Forge actuator
APS Dual port recirc
Original Re-map at extreme motor sport where it made 399.5bhp this was at 1.65bar peak, but has since had the tephra rom added to enable switchable pops/bangs and flames however it now runs 1.7 peak
Handling and braking mods:
Bilstein shocks
Tein lowering springs
Ultra light G-grid bronze 18" alloy wheels (with matching wheel nuts and 1 locking nut per wheel). The rear nearside wheel has got scuff marks on it (not too bad)
Performance Friction 2 piece discs with PF pads with Goodridge stainless lines all round.
Rear discs and pads less than 1 yr old from camskill (Std spec)
Callipers are still lovely and red with minimal flaking lacquer
Styling mods:
Carbon fibre dash inserts.
Carbon fibre bonnet vent.
Carbon Fibre rear Evolution VIII badging.
Genuine carbon high level spoiler, with genuine mitsi wedge to cover boot hole. This isnt suffering from flaking laquer.
Rexpeed vortex generator
Perrin performance stubby ariel
Ralliart interior mats.
I have made a pod for 2 gauges, oil pressure and oil temp. Pressure gauge is fitted, however the temp gauge isnt although it will be supplied it justs needs the sender fitting (on standard filter housing)
Miscellaneous mods:
Ralliart radiator cooling panel - not fitted as it had flaking paint so I removed it to clean it up and paint it, however it will be included.
HKS 2 bar boost gauge
PIAA horns
Uprated headlight bulbs
Security/ice:
Standard cobra alarm/ immobiliser
Tracker monitor
Sony single disc cd player mp3 compatable.
Here is a link to a vid of my car just after it had the exhaust fitted.

Car is taxed until the end of dec and it costs about £230 per year, mot is april 2011 and there shouldnt be any probs (last mot the tester said it was a nice clean car)
A std cat convertor will be supplied, and also a spare set of brembo front calipers which I was going to recon and powdercoat.
Think thats about everything and I have been as honest as I can be.
.
It is £9000 ono
Cheers
James
