Default *****BEWARE*****

I have purchased two items off a guy on here (triple filtered) wo sells quite alot on here. I bought some 440cc injectors and a 3'' down pipe. i did recieve the injectors and down pipe, both reasonably priced but the injectors were mangled and not in good condition as they were described to be, to which his answer was "mark will be able to sort them for you at lateral when you send them to be modified", which he did but it cost me money which it shouldn't have done.

Last week i bought a second hand 3" down pipe off him, it wasn't described very good, i just presumed it to be stainless, and open mouth which its not. I've sent him 3 messages to try and sort and have admitted i should of made better enquiries into the down pipe and didn't but there again surely its better to accuratley describe an item? Ive asked for a refund but he just ignores me. i know he's been online because i have seen recent posts from him.

So, to cut a long story short, the stuff i have had hasn't been the best quality and also wasn't very accuratley decribed, and his after sales service if you get any respone is ****...........

This is not thread to threaten anybody or to create a bad repuation as im sure he has had lots of happy customers, its just im not one of them on the two occasions i have used him for stuff and won't be doing again. This is just to make buyers aware, as as i said eaarlier, he sells on here alot.

I have also messaged him to tell him i am going to post a thread in this section regarding this matter as this as a last resort due to the fact he won't answer my messgaes so no tittle tattling!!!

Heres the thread where the downpipe was advertised.
https://www.scoobynet.com/private-fo...ilver-18s.html

Decat 3'' downpipe.

Thats what was advertised, thats what you got. Right or wrong?

I never advertised it as stainless or open mouthed.

When I advertise a silver door, I dont put in the description ''not blue or red''??

When you messaged me about it you never asked if it was stainless or open mouthed. I still have the PM's to prove.

As for the injectors, they were working fine as the car was running when I broke it. Told you at the time I didnt have another set to swap them for and you never asked for a refund then. And I take it they ARE working fine as you've never told me otherwise or posted any other BEWARE thread about them not working???

Right or wrong??

Must admit it looks like the guy hasn't done anything wrong with the downpipe

'i just presumed it to be stainless, and open mouth which its not'

Surely your fault for not asking the question?

(p.s. I don't know either party involved)

Like i said mate, im not disputing what you advertised as the thread said, i just said it wasn't clear as there are so many downpipes out there as to which type you were actually selling. I have already said i should have been more clear when asking about it and it was probably my fault. Its more the fact that you have ignored me that has pissed me off more.

Why did you ignore me? did you just hope i would go away?

i let the whole injector thing go as you just seems very abrupt and i just felt like i couldn't get anywhere with the issue.
im also not disputing the fact that they came off a running car. they were mangled. if they weren't why did mark at tell me i needed to pay for one injector supplied as he wouldn't want to modify it as the clip that holds the pug to the injector was goosed.

as said previously, id of been happy you saying no to the donwpipe refund, as its partly my fault as i didnt ask you the specifics as said above, but you should of replied as as a seller thats what you should do.

you were quite happy to reply when when i asked you fort ya pay pal address!!

i don't get kicks out of arguing with people and this whole thing is not me, im just pissed off that all.

I don't think the seller's done anything wrong, if you thought the downpipe was badly described you should have asked for a better description and/or pics.
Definitely not worthy of a refund as he never gave it a false description.
Also, if you weren't happy with the injectors why buy more stuff from him?

Thats all you had to say over a week ago! would have been suffice like i said earlier.

Ya last post just shows how aproachable you are mate as said above, and what your attitude is like.

Ive run my business over 5 years now, and as a seller your suppoed to look after your customers.

in all honesty mate, if you were me, and when it arrived you realised it was wrong, surely yu would of just asked to see if the seller would be willing toi give you a refund as you'd made a **** up when buying?

at the end of the day, im not gunna hold grudges against ya over £65!

All you had to do was answer me instead of ignore me.
As for the injectors thats bin and gone and sorted now.

just wanted to make other people aware that things aren't always as rosey as they seem.

Also received this from him.

Would be a blatant mis-use of the iTrader feedback
Re: down pipe
ive never know anybody as ignorant as you have been to me. i have emailed you twice about this down pipe and have asked you to give me a straight foward yes or no answer as to will you give me a refund if i return it to you as the item is no good to me as its not open mouth.
You haven't answered me and i know you have been online since i posted the question to you twice as i have seen other posts from you. Im going to leave you negative feedback and put a nice post about your **** after sales service in the forsale section and general sections to warn other buyers about you as your after sales service as far as i can tel is ****, seems like once you've got the money you don't give a crap, like the mangled injectors you sold me that ended up costing me money for lateral to sort out that you didn't give a **** about. i have given you chance to sort this downpipe issue out to no avail....................... this could have been sorted out very easily but YOU have led me to this!!!

Yeah, caus I'm cheaper than the rest

At the end of the day, I sold you an item accurately described, you received it, and it was in good order.

Tell me, why should I have refunded you??

I've learned the hard way about refunding folk. Sometimes the dont post the item back after theyve been refunded.

I posted a bonnet once, for the buyer to say it was damaged. Blatntly wasnt my bonnet in the pic but I refunded anyway.

Now every panel I sell has a UV signiture on it and I BUY the damaged panel back so if it isnt mine that returns, I can file a dispute of my own

What were you trying to achieve with this character deforming post then? Giving it the big ****BEWARE*** title to try and make the guy look like a **** all because you made a presumption

hang on a minute, so every body who's posted thinks its ok to ignore somebody who you have just sold an item to who's asking you a question and has given you the oportunity to say yes or know?

only reason i wanted an answer is so that i could either
a) get a refund if he would be willing
b) if not, sell it on.

not difficult. yes, or no.

I could of had it back up for sale a week ago!

Did you pay £65 for the downpipe?
That's a very decent price even if it's not stainless, if it was me I would stick it back on here for sale, you'll get rid of it no problem

That's a good point though, good communication is important between buyers and sellers.

Why didn't you then?

It does not give you the right to post a thread like this, especially given that (by your own admission) you were more pissed off he hadn't answered your post than you were with the actual item itself

OK, heres my answer.

I have done nothing wrong, advertised nothing wrong and sold nothing wrong.

On that basis and the fact I might never see it again, I am not willing to give a refund.

From now on, this will be my signature, and every car I break will have at the bottom ''no refunds will be given unless the item is not accuratly described''
