Machined Closed Deck Block with Pistons
Up for grabs is a closed deck block, with 92.5mm bore, that has been machined to accept rear thrust bearings, has had a 14mm head stud conversion, has been bored and plateau honed to a set of RCM Omega Gobstopper nitrous pistons. Pistons have only had light use and are perfect to use. The block has also had a block face skim so is complete and ready to build.
The pistons come with uprated coated nitrous gudgeon pins. Same type of pistons have had verified use of over 850bhp. Pistons come with rings and not out of a damaged or broken engine.
Work undertaken with RCM as follows:
Rear thrust conversion: £264.38
14mm head stud conversion: £264.38
Block face skim: £152.76
Hone and bore all cylinders: £264.38
Total of £945.82
Looking for £850 including postage for the block and £300 for the pistons. Ideally they go together, but am willing to split.
Can MMS pictures of parts, PM me with number

This is just a block and pistons, ready to accept any centre or rear thrust crank.

Hi Gus, not got block here, so will take a pic tomorrow. The block has been machined and honed to the pistons so is best to sell together.
Cheers,
Tom

No 14mm head studs included, just what is stated, but the 14mm head studs are readily available and what is really needed to go above 450bhp!

People are saying that £350 is cheap for a completely standard closed deck block without any work.
I think it will probably be eBayed.

£300-£350 seems to be about the right money for a CDB without work- I wouldn't say £350 is cheap for one
