100% Real Carbon Fibre Roof!
Anyone interested in purchasing carbon fibre roof skins? Not fake 3m vinyl stuff. I have a mate thats in contact with a company that makes them to order i believe he can get them for classics aswell as new age impreza's. Don't know that much just yet but as soon as i know more i shall post it here.
If anyone has or know the link of the guy that had a carbon roof skin on here before can they please send it to me or post it here. As its basically the exact same.
Once i get my own pics and prices i will update you all. In the mean time if there is any seriois interest please send me a message so we can hopefully get discount on a group buy.
Cheers Alan

Its just the skin i think you can stick it over or cut away the original skin as far as the seams of the trims so you dont see the joins etc.
Yeah i remember the one on ebay it was actually £300 give or take and it was a factory reject. I was gutted myself i missed it because it only had a few bubbles that were hardly noticeable.
My mate said the company sell most their roof skins around £550 but as not many scoob owners go for the carbon roof they might be slighty more.
I was told if they need to make a mold for a batch it can cost £1500 just for that process. But if we do a group buy the company will take on the cost of the blank and we should get a decent price the more customers they get obviously.
Ive now also asked about possiblity of carbon front splitters...

Jamz i could ask for you if you want but im sure you can buy them off ebay?
Hopefully i get dome pics before the weekend...
Eversham they can do you a one off for yours like i said but its like £1500 as they need to make a mould first. Then from then on i think its like £550-600+ per roof skin. So if you could get like 5 other wagon owners then all you pay is the £550-600+ and they take on the mould cost. Hope that makes sence, i might make a group buy thread soon to see how much discount we can get.

Like i said weazel if it was just a one off roof it would be pretty expensive but if you can find a few other like-minded blobers then should only be roughly about £550 each or cheaper depending on how many of you their is.
Yeah that would be great ginge!
This is basically what im looking at getting made. The company should be able to make a full skin replacement and a stick on skin which is what im more interested in.
This pic is of an actual roof for the classic impreza that i borrowed from another thread.

If someone can supply a roof for the classic saloon hopefully they can get started on it soon. If anyone else wants one done for a model other than the classic you will need to source a roof for them to mould off.
Hopefully ill get some pics soon of some of the work they do to give you an idea of their skill.
