Due to incorrect source, the Air-Con pack is back on the market (apologies for wasting people's time - you know who you are).
This for for an MY98 onwards.
Full pack including installation instructions, the dashboard switch, the fan.... EVERYTHING!
Even still in the box!!
Due to this new information, I'll let it go for £500 o.n.o.
As before, this kit, as a dealer upgrade, will cost in excess of £1000!
This IS brand new. All that will be required is installation, and gassing.
Again, at this price, I must request that the buyer collects (about 20miles from J7 M5)
This IS a bargain - if I didn't have my MY95, I'd seriously look at it myself

I was talking to Howard from HDC Subaru about this very thing. 01422 846868. He can put together a kit of s/h parts for Pre 97MY cars for a v. good price. I'm thinking of getting one for my Legacy.
Cheers

Excellent price for anyone who doesnt have one fitted, takes around 3hrs in total (half a day at the dealers to have fitted) and will give your car a little bit more resale value as its quite an expensive option!
Hope you sell it soon Dan, would buy it but dont think i can fit 2 a/c units in my scoob

Can I ask a few questions????
1 Will it fit an MY00 car?
2 How much will you ask for it?
3 Has it been used and if not why is it for sale?
I will ring around tommorrow and get some quotes for fitting , as I understand Subaru will install new system for 995 pounds.
I will get back to you once I get some quotes.

Brendy- yes, it will fit all Scoobs from 98 up to the Bug-eyed wonder!!!
It IS brand new - boxed - opened just so that I could look at it (thought it was a pre-98 kit - ask Paul Huxley! ahem!!!)
Couldn't tell you why it hasn't been used - all I know is that it isn't nicked. (Don't deal in the dodgy stuff!) I've got it through a friend who deals with Insurance write-offs and salvage - presumably the plug was pulled.... don't know though.
£500 and buyer arranges collection. This IS a fab deal!!
Let me know OK?

Paul - I've just sent you a text message mate!!!
Just to re-iterate, I've got the manual for you - scanned and about to be emailed.
I've also got you a switch and a fan.....
No, I haven't forgotten you!!!

I've decided against buying this as there is no comeback with this whatsoever and will end up costing approx £700.
As a new fitted kit will only be £995 I think this is a much better bet.
Also I see you have advertised this as £400 ONO about 2 weeks ago.
A price rise of £100 seems a bit much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brendy - reason why the price went up was that initially, the kit was specced as a pre-98 kit - thus warranting the lower price.
The kit itself is actually VERY easy to DIY. It then needs gassing up - about £40.
I presume that it's still for sale.
Mungo - care to make an offer?
BTTT.
