Couple bits of general advice: the phone will definitely be unlocked; and why don't you stick it on eBay, it's very easy and you should get around £130 for it, just be prepared for ***** bidding and not paying up, and of course clearing payment before posting it off.
If it sticks give me a shout, I'd be interested in it as a back-up phone (as such would pay £80 plus post).
