Full Subaru DEMO Car Stereo for sale
#1
Having just Sold my Subaru Impreza Turbo I am now selling the FULL Demo sound system that was installed in it.
The Car was a feature car built by SQPlus (www.sqplus.com) and featured in:
Fast Car July 2000 - p186-p188
Ice with Jordan (Man & Motors) TV
The Max Power Show 2000
The Rockford Fosgate Stand at Doncaster 2000
The Car was built as a Kenwood and Dragster (Rockford Fosgate) Demo Car. The Stereo therefore has been well maintained and currently is fully boxed up.
The Stereo is a FULL boot build for a Subaru Impreza Saloon, it is covered in Red Alcantara cloth, and if requested could be refitted by SQPlus in Manchester. Also the Boot build I'm informed could easily be modified for any saloon car.
The system comprises:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kenwood:
KTC-1000R TV Tuner/Amp
KVC-1000 6.5inch Touch Screen TV/Monitor
KDC-CPS82 10 Disc (premium) CD Changer
KMD-D401 3+1 MD Changer
JVC:
KV-V10 In Car Stereo Video (With Remote)
DRAGSTER:
4 (FOUR!) DWC 105 10" Subs
2 (TWO!) DA602 60wRMS*2 amps (One per front door)
1 DA2002 200wRMS*2 amp (For the Subs Only!)
DLS:
DLS Ultimate US Front Door Speakers (Nearly £400 new!)
Phoenix Gold:
Phoenix Gold BASS Cube (Fantastic device)
Install Components:
ALL CABLES, Top Quality Speaker Cables, Power Cables, etc
Sub Box for FOUR 10" Subs
Side Panels with Amp cutouts
Lower side panels with CD Changer and Video Cutouts
Floor Panel with SQPlus Emblem, amp cutout with perspex screen and Red Neon Illumination from below
Black Floor panel to cover above should a load be transported
High Panel Comprising three DIN sized cutouts for DVD(opt), MD Changer, DVD Navi(opt)
Boot lid underside panel
This System is ready to go, plug it in and off you go!
My Personal criteria at the time - which we achieved were: The sound quality must be quality, this sounds better than my home Hifi - I needed to carry luggage and "stuff", which I managed to do at all times, the stereo did not limit me in any way - and it must NOT have one screw holding it into the car, which we achieved, the system fits together.
Once installed when you open the boot all you can see is Red Alcantara, no metalwork shows at all. This system was fantastic, I have bought an AUDI with SatNAV+ this time and therefore this stereo will not fit.
The Headunit has been away to Kenwood for a FULL service, it is without a scratch!!
The system is completely ready for DVD, and is ready for the Kenwood DVD Navigation which aparently is excellent and all controlled by the Touch screen (cool)
This System cost me over £7500 when new about 20 months ago
And now I'm looking for a good subaru home for £2500.

Christ, I'd love it but the wife would kill me. No question on that whatsoever.
"Instead of that new kitchen I've just fitted you, I could have bought this sound system for the car" *whoosh* (I try to duck frying pan) *bang* (not quick enough) *THUD*
