After speaking with one of the companies i buy quite a few items from, they have offered me the following deal for me to offer other scoobybnetters.

The group buy is for the Apexi AVC Type R Boost controller.

The price is £350 + delivery (inc VAT), a minimum number of three orders will be required to get this price.

Interested parties please contact me via here or on email -
ptholt@rocketmail.com

The spec is as follows (ripped from apexi site):-
SUPER AVC TYPE-R
Concept - Advanced electronic boost controller
Characteristics - Highly flexible boost control with revolutionary new functions; Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD).
Comments - The Super AVC-R is the premium closed-loop electronic boost controller on the market. The AVC-R allows flexible control over virtually every aspect of boost control and adds new innovative functions such as injector pulse monitoring and gear specific boost control. Some key functions include: RPM-based boost and solenoid duty cycle control, scramble boost, self learning mode, 2D ghost map trace mode, analog display mode, real time replay and peak hold data modes. The AVC-R utilizes an ultra-fast microprocessor and a high quality solenoid valve to control boost. The result is ultra-fast response and accurate, stable boost control.

You can see the manual here - http://www.apexi-usa.com/productdocu..._savcr_ins.pdf
The web page for this item is here - http://www.apexi-usa.com/electronics_savcr.asp

I know of no reason as to why it shouldnt work, its has a generic loom from what i understand so shouldnt be a problem in any car regardless of model or age.

Pete's car unfortunatly is 10 times nicer than your old car was mate. How do I know? because he is a mate of mine and I know a top scoob when I see one and drive in one.

Stop wasting time and just go to bed. These comments aren't getting anyone anywhere........

Who said anything about £380??
try reading you moron.

The price from the site you quoted actually converts from dollars to £338 and thats before shipping to the uk with import tax (prob 10%, may be incorrect) and VAT (17.5%) added on top............

Shaun, lock it mate, this is why i gave up arranging group buys twelve months ago to much grief from idiots like the above.

This guy who sold his Scoob for a Supe if a bit of a w*@#ker in my opinion, some one it putting a good price together for a top bit of kit, and all he can do is p*ss people off, whats that all about.

I seem to remember when he was selling is """Redmonster""", didn't want to give that away at a bargin price!!

If I wanted one (have a Blitz in my Scoob and an AVC-R in my Veilside Supe) I would seriously be considering it as 350 is a good price for an AVC-R and not only that I would feel happy dealing with Pete. as for P&P ani't going to cost more that 10quid 360 all in what do you want blood

These guy that are putting these group buy together have to be comended, getting everyone good prices!, why slate them, it'll endup that no one will waste there time and we'll all end up paying top$.
