Did you confirm your bid and has your user name come up in the highest bidder section.... remember there are 9 days left on the auction.... best thing to do is leave your bidding to the last minute so the price stays down.....

He also does not have a reserve which is good news for you..

I agree with RON, those are NOT STi wheels.

Check out the picture posted on e-Bay of the wheels for sale with the genuine STi ones from the Subaru UK website;

I guess that he has made a mistake .....

Cool

I've asked him about the state of the wheels and the tyres (type and condition). Though it's his prerogative whether to respond.

I had a little punt for them myself, though will wait for his response to see if I should go further. As long as they fit my MY00 and are in good condition I'll be happy.

Beakie

Don't forget that MY01 wheels will fit and MY00, but that you'll need lower profile tyres.

Cheers Duncan,

The wheels should have the 215/45's on them. Will that be enough?

Although with 17's I'll have to be slower on those lovely speed bumps round good ole London town.

Beakie

I don't think I made sense in the last post - I'll try again!

You can use the 17" wheels from the MY01 on the MY00, but not the tyres. The standard WRX tyres are 215/45 x 17", but when using 17" wheels on the MY00 Prodrive recommended running 215/40 x 17". The danger is that the MY01 ones will raise the car effcting the handling and the gearing, and that they may foul the arches (although I don't see why!). To make matters worse, if they are STi tyres then they'll be even wider (225/45 x 17") and these will foul your arches.

Having said all of that, if you buy the wheels you can always flog the tyres on here.

Although the P-Zeros on the P1 17s are 45 profile........ and I have 215 width on my 17s (but 40 profile)... is it the combination of 215 width and 45 profile that will foul then? Independently that width and profile have been shown to work on old shapes.....

Apparently a few people have used the 215/45 17's with no problem, but I wouldn't advise it on lowered cars.

My lickle ole scoob is standard, apart from headlamp/spotlight covers and brighter bulbs. (Always concerned about messing with a car whilst still under warranty)

Ive got these on my MY99 with ap 6 pots and 330mm discs. they fit fine.
I think the alloys look wicked.

I changed the tyres as per the above to SO 2'S. Didn't think much at all of the standard Bridgestone tyre that came on the wrx 01's- tram-lined a lot

regards
