As title very good, 8 months old selling due to putting my car back to standerd.
This turbine has a fair amount of lag before 4000rpm but when she goes it's a hell of a thrust with a wastegate chatter to die for.
Yours for £500.
Game on, mail me.

If you had been local I would of taken the turbo off your hands, but I guess your too far away for me to test it.
Shame as it would proberbly gone nice with my Apexi front mount and dump valve I have just fitted.
Colin.

Have you got full spec of turbo, model year and bhp figures achieved on your scooby, how does it compare to the HKS unit? Where abouts are you as still might be tempted.

I shall endevour to get it for you colin but it's still on the car atm and i don't have access to it till after the weekend. I have no experience of hks to compaire to this one.
The unit had been on my my95 wrex for a month before it had big end failiure last weekend. I didnt have time to get it on the rollers so cannot answer your question however i would strongly recomend that you run uprated internals if you would like it.

I have got a 94 WRX which must also have the same 90 degree entry into the turbo as your model, does this turbo overcome this restriction by repositioning the turbo and allowing a staight entry into it by using a different up pipe.
If so have you any photos of it fitted. How much lag is there compared with standard turbo, as since fitting fmic I have no real boost until nearly 4,000 rpm anyway. Have been trying to find spec without any luck for an Impreza, is it originaly designed for the Impreza or has it been modified from another vehicle to fit and is it a roller bearing unit.
Sorry to be a pain but it is a lot of money to spend and hassel to fit, for something that could possibly end up worse than I have already got .

No problem. I too cannot find a listing for this turbo, very strange. I shall talk to rc about it and find out all the info. It has a 90 degree elbow on the intake. I presume it's roller bearing, best wait till i find more info.

I will also be very interested to hear about it's stats, and also to find out if its a direct swap for a TD05-16G from a jspec '94 WRX, as I have a custom turbo back, and its important that it can just bolt right on.

This turbine was a straight swop for a td05 as far as i know because thats what came off mine. The intake is a right angle so i wouldnt know weather or not it would fit on yours mat.
Get more info monday.
It has been on a my95 wrex.

How much do you want for the td05 ?
How many miles has it covered ?
Does it have a straight or R/A inlet ?
Cheers
