Owned the car from 2.5k miles old, now has 24k, first registered 1 Apr 1999.
Engine rebuilt by main dealer 7k miles ago with standard parts - rebuild was due to the death of the original engine.
Car is superb mechanically (just scoobysport backbox and K&N induction kit), not so cosmetically(stone chips [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] ). If it doesn't sell I'll get the stonechips sprayed out and ask alot more.
Has the Prodrive/Alcon 330mm brake kit (good pads n discs) and 2 years(35k miles) left of the official Subaru UK warranty![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Sale due to potential change in circumstances...
No test drives unless proof of insurance and funds can be proven...sorry!
New engine hasn't been on track, neither have discs and pads.

Why are you selling this baby??? You leaving Scoobyland for good or have you got something else on the cards?
I'll vouch that this car is an awesome buy & if I had the cash i'd snap it up without eaven wanting a test drive![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Why exactly did the engine die in the first place.
You say it was rebuilt with Standard Parts, does that mean it was modified on its departure.
Curious and Considering different options. ( RB5, P1, 22b, STi7 )

Rebuilt with standard parts means that the warranty is still valid. Why did it die? Dunno, neither did Subaru UK. I don't really care, got a new engine for free
, and reciepts for £8k detailing the work done and paid for by IM - gawd bless 'em ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

...careful my ar$e...I know Chuck drives like a wuss...his better half on the other hand...stories about lift off oversteer hit the shores of Sweden long ago. ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
And regarding the engine...could it have been a serious case of turnip-allergy?![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
It is A STUNNING, WICKED car...this is the only time I've wished I was a well paid limey.

Thanks folks. The 'why' is private, I'll tell my friends over a pint but I don't care to tell the whole world. I can say it isn't a forced sale, I love the car but I'm too much of a 'w'banker not to consider what else I could be doing with the money besides letting it sit on my driveway ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
