I'm looking for a midlands dealer to buy my scooby.

Any dealer recomendations?

This is a heartbreak sale, but New Labour Cometh.

Briefly:
98/R Green 4 door. 2000 Turbo AWD.
Air con, tracker, 19K miles.
FSH.
UK car, not thrashed or crashed.
1 owner from new (me).
Mint Mint Mint.

What would a fair offer be?

Thanks
Steve

Talking

Be prepared to be insulted at a dealer m8
Specially if you're not buying a new car from them.

I'd say they would offer you between 9 and 10k

Question

Yep, I'd say that £9k is a likely price, but I'd expect you'll get dealers taking the P with £6k offers. Ring around a few dealers as the prices will vary loads.

Do you need a really quick sale? It may be worth trying to sell privately.

Unhappy

Parkers online say £12380 for "Good" condition private sale or £10895 trade. I know people will scoff at those prices but try and hold out for better prices.

Check out the Subaru website and do a search on their used cars; a few examples -
98S, 28000m, £13995
98S, 38400m, £14995
98R, 54300m, £11995
98R, 26000m, £13995

Unless it's the end of the world and you're down to your last packets of stale bread and mouldy lard I wouldn't try selling it on here - it would just be too depressing.
