Interesting....there is a similar urban myth about later 306 GTi-6's / Rallyes coming out of the factory with 173bhp to stick 2 fingers up at Renault for releasing the Clio 172. Don't know how true this is but my car feels extremely quick!

Cheers Saxo boy saved me answering that.
It's got something to do with the way the airflow or so I have been lead to believe might be a load of BS though!!
The reason maybe that Citroen web site says that it is only 120 is because I think it's hasn't been up dated as the 2002 model has a change of alloys. All VTS from 2001 should be 130bhp unless you was sold one of the early models
Thats right aint it saxy?

Fink so! I very much doubt my car has 120bhp with a 15.3 at Crail. I was tempted to put it on the rollers to be sure but I'd rather save the money for a scooby.

It's true, there is technical documentation from Citroen to back this up. Also, GMC will give you a run down on this too if you contact them.
The later models with 130bhp also have a different cylinder heads & 106 GTi's are the same.![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
