Competition Impreza Bodyshells
#1
My brother is planning to prepare Impreza bodyshells to Group A and N spec.
He wants to know what kind of market is out there for these and I would be very greatfull if you could let me know what spec and price you would be willing to pay for a shell.
Thanks Callum.

..........silence!!
Sad world but it seems that Scoobynetters don't actually compete in motorsport. You might have to explain what group 'A' and 'N' means.
Why is it that there are probably more Skodas built for rallying than Subarus? Surely a Subaru is already part-rallycar?
If you want a big response why not try offering something like bendy rubber rollcages which can be fitted in two minutes and look just like the real thing..... Or plastic stick-on caliper covers to make your brakes look bigger..... Or slip-over exhaust boxes and tailpipes for that beefy look..... How about instant seam welding from a silicon tube...??
I'd better go before someone asks me to take a banner advert....

Oi! I saw that...
Mr.Wood - If you want to find those willing to buy such shells, you may want to email Richard Askew, who's one of the moderators. He might be able to point you in the direction of places that you may have more luck with.
aar - The sad fact is that people involved in grass-roots motorsport buy skoda's, etc...Coz they're a damn sight cheaper than preparing a competitive Group 'N' Impreza - Let alone Group 'A'.
If you've finished taking the P*ss, I can get on with polishing my plasti-chrome wheel covers!

been rallying for 19 years off and on.
I run a full groupA spec forest rally car.
I run a 6 litre GT racecar
There are plenty on here who do participate in motorsport, very few are looking for a competition shell though, unless we happen to roll the car, again! LOL
your best off going to places like motorsport news, or posting on the UK rally forums, maybe even special stage, the US forum for rallying.
It's pretty unlikely anyone would look for a new shell here, so the deamnd will be ermmmmmm, NIL.
Can i have a pint too?
