Sorry, no warranty left - after 22 May anyway.

No trackdays, chips or dents. Oh yeah, also have 4 new Toyos, fitted two weeks ago.

warranty can be extended by Subaru £388 for 2 years... you will have to do this before the other one expires I think.... not sure if you'll be able to get an extension on the warranty after that date.....

Cool

Take your point about the warranty but in the 3 years I have had the car all that has gone wrong is the remote transmitter failed - once.

Paying £388 seems a bit steep for peace of mind when nothing goes wrong with it anyway!

Cool

Maybe so, but I'd be nervous buying a car so close to it's warranty expiry date and would happily pay the extra 400 for peace of mind. I'm sure you'll re-coup it in the sale.
(just my thoughts

I am no real hurry to sell it just yet, I just want to see what it may be worth and if I get an offer I can't refuse, well.........

Personally, I doubt if anyone would be prepared to pay me an extra £400 just because it had an extended warranty - I certainly wouldn't myself. Potential buyers know Scoobies just don't go wrong, provided they are cared for, and mine has been - I just paid £410 for the 36 month service.

I accept a car with an extended warranty may be more saleable than one without. But as I said above, I am no real hurry to sell at the moment, I just want to see what I may be able to get for it.

Okay guys

Here goes. I have been offerred £15,500 as a trade in but I want to do better than that (obviously!)

No tracker and I'll be taking the CD unit with me (unless you can make me a good offer for that too).

I should have some pics of it available on here next week - if I can figure out how to upload them.

Sorry, am not gonna give the reg no. out. Don't really want it to become another stolen car statistic. Anyway, the year of manufacture and model should be all you need to get an insurance quote.

By the way, if want to e-mail me, my address has changed to Innys@hotmail.com.

I had mine on here, WR Sport, and hardly anyone was interested and no-one wanted to give me 15K for it! I have tried several garages for part ex, the most I got offered was 13.5K, BMW garage offered me 12-13K on a 25K 330d. I even got "sorry we can't take that it's too specialist"

Jeez!

Maybe I'll just be better off selling it to the dealer, which is a pity, cos it's a fab car.

Makes you wonder where Parkers get their prices from sometimes....

i would snap the dealers hand off mate.

You will have to be very lucky to get £15,500 for an RB5 at the moment. Bugger all is selling in the mid range values, it's either new cars or dirt cheap ones that are shifting it seems.

A 3 year old limited edition with less than 12k on the clock , it's gotta be a bargain at that price

BTW I just picked up No.161 on Saturday for similar money and love it to bits already, and it's sounds superb with the de-cat pipe / scoobysport backbox
oh and handles spot on with the Eibachs and bump steer mod

Unfortunately I have finally realised I don't need an Impreza any more.

Yes, they are rare and yes, the handle fab, but I think when you gotta go, you gotta go, *sniff*
