Any one interested in a group buy on NOS the original 490inc VAT and Delivery.

They are a complete WET system as starter jets are 25bhp but can be increased in size to upto 85bhp

I enquired about NOS - 600 + VAT from Holley (own the brand NOS)....so 490 is pretty good.

Does this include the `fogger` between manifold and block?

From what I'm told it is specificly for the Subaru Turbo and comes as a Complete kit. Every thing you need to do the job.

I've fitted a High power system on my Supe and its all very easy to do, I'd guess the NOS is much the same but they use beter quality fittings. Hence the group by.

I'm only planning to run the 25bhp metering jets, as on the Supe being a turbo the 25 jets give around 40bhp and talking to some one about the scoob its about 30bhp, so my sti currenty around 300 will give it that nice edge when over takeing and being that your already doing a reasonable speed it shouldn't have any detremental effect on the bottom end.

could you explain more about it too me? I know it makes the insurance high...and that it goes faster with it.. plus blows cold air to engine or makes the mixture more rich...But how about the canisters of Nos..when you use a boost do you get it recharged or something? or get another can? how much do they cost too...?

Can't remember all the facts..

Haven't yet used the NOS system, but with the highpower on the supe, you have and arming switch and a microswith on the trottle (My Supe is a little different as I'm running about 100bhp and a progressive controller). so the deal is that you open the valve on the NOS bottle(Refilable 40ish for a 10lb bottle) and when you want a shot you arm the system and when you put your food down i.e. full throttle that lets gas and fuel(A wet System) into the inlet tract and you go very fast.

The gas comes out at about -140 centigrade, so its an awsome charge cooler as well as NO2 being two parts Oxygen, one part Nitrogen.

The whole idea of turbos, Supercharger, Intercooler etc is to make "AIR" as dence as possible, in order to get maximum oxygen into the engine, NO2 is 2 thirds pure to start with hence the power gains.

You will however spend alot of cash on the NOS when you first get it as its blinding fun. The buzz will ware off but it just gives you the bit extra for over taking etc.

The kit comes with two solonoids 1 Fuel and 1 Gas, 10lb bottle and as far as running costs it ain't going to be cheap to start with, but it all depends on how you use it and what size jets you use
