Cool

For Sale: Motec M48-Pro ECU and Motec Data Cable.

I have a Loom Adaptor, but that would only be of use to someone with an STI 3 or 4 or identical loomed car.

Besides the ECU and Data Cable you would probably need a loom adaptor and possibly to arrange an installation and mapping session with Bob Rawle of BRDevelopments.

Current UK list price is just short off 1900GBP for the ECU and Data Cable, I am looking for realistic offers.

Anyone interested? Please contact me here, on bbs.22b.com or offline of you are.

"why do people put topics in for sale called for sale?"

Look how many people have viewed it though out of morbid curiosity. Certainly gets the publicity up.

And we've both bumped it to the top talking about it

Cool

John,

Using the "For Sale" title, or "Bits for sale" or suchlike means that the topic might actually get read, which, considering how fast your topic disappears to page 10 in this forum, is not a bad thing.

I also wanted to make clear that the Motec is now _definitely_ up for grabs, having previously posted that is was _probably_ going to be for sale soon.

Regards,

Moray

Hi John,

I don't mind you asking at all.

I thought i might try one of these dawes devices with the jecs... they seem to do the biz.

I wouldn't recommend a Dawes......however I have heard that drilling out your brass thingy can give you better gains than any FULLY mappable ECU

Jacko.

P.S. oh yeah...BTTT !

I think its brilliant that john chose this thread to rip it out of, plus moray is a sitting target.

must say, I would be serioulsy thinking about buying this, as with loom adaptor it is ideal for my car. If only I hadnt just bougth something similar.

Oh well, you live and learn.

Will have to make dow ith what I have

John Banks,

Would I be correct in guessing that DeltaDash won't work with my old 97 sti JECS ecu? If so, then it would have to be the dawes on its own.

John Banks,

Another question... seeing as you are now an ECUTek ECU tuning guru, so to speak, are you able to convert older model car looms to run reprogrammable jecs units yet?
