I bought this and fitted to my MY00 to cure hesitation problems, and it made a hell of a difference
Now I'm going down the link route, so it up for sale to the highest bidder!!
Email me with your price on babber@blueyonder.co.uk

Got an offer for £120, come on boys this ECU once fitted to your (Hesitating MY00) car will transform the performance, and will make it fast again. There are RR comparisons on here somewhere that will prove the differences ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

All you MY00 owners - I would advise that you purchase this ECU immediately
This has pretty much the same map as the EcuTek1 ECU which costs £150 PLUS your old AE802![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I bought an AE801 from a breaker and it has transformed my car. Honestly![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Below are two dyno runs done at Power Engineering. Everything was the same on the two runs except the ECU. Car has fully decatted exhaust and an ITG.
AE802 ECU: 229Bhp 223Tq (Black plot)
AE801 ECU: 257Bhp 236Tq (Red plot)
At Powerstation the AE801 made 237Bhp and 216Tq yesterday![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I have seen 'Tek2 (£500 + your old ECU) that are not far off my PS figures (by a matter of a couple of Bhp).

It cost me £150+vat from a breaker.
I have no associtation with babber, BTW, just reckon that these things transform MY00 cars (MY99 owners may now enter Smug-mode) and are easily worth at least £150 odd on here.
PS. Back to the top

SimonH,
It seems like people forget far too quick, it was only 6 months ago that all the drama was going on about MY99 / MY00 ECUs.
Thanks for the help though mate.
Cheers Phill C

Why needed for MOT? I don't change the MOT related areas of the map. Steve Done's Tek 3 passed MOT with flying colours. What is the issue?
He said Link but I think he meant "Eurotek" or is that Ecutek Phil ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

John,
At the start of the thread I was thinking about going down the link route, but has since decided that a ECUTEK upgrade will be the better option.
I was wondering what he means about keeping the old one for the MOT. I'll already have to change the exhaust, so don't want to change anything else![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Sorry mate, not messing around here
I'm in the process of getting rid of my MY00 and getting an RB5
I need to get another ECU, before I can let you have the MY99 ECU.

OK Phill but don't leave it too long, I mwy be lucky elsewhere ya know!
I live 10 mins south of the Airport but work in Bristol as per details in my email to you.
How much are you looking for the SS Back box? I already have the same front and mid sections as you so full system no good to me. If you split the system, bear me in mind.
Cheers and good luck with the sales.
