Hi Robo, I would email you this but I couldn't see an email-able address in your profile, so here goes and please don't flame me too much for saying
:
The reason why I asked the price is that the HKS Hiper mid and backbox is £500 BRAND NEW including VAT! Which means you also get at least a years guarantee from which distributor you have bought it from.
£400 is a bit rich for my blood IMHO, bearing in mind it is 9 months old (exterior vehicle component-therefore mileage insignificant) and will have no guarantee.
Under that premise, I would be willing to offer you £300
If you are not interested, then good luck on selling it on.
Jacko.

Adam,
Beg to differ on the Downpipe - there are differences, the early downpipes don't have the tapping for the Lambda at the top of the pipe, the later ones have a tapping for the Lambda and the exhuast temp sensor at the bottom of the downpipe. I had to modify an HKS pipe to fit my STi3 - there's a thread on this in either the Tech or Drivetrain forum on this and Pete Croney confirmed there are differences. Don't know when it changed though.

Big thankyou to Kevin Groat for keeping certain non-lesser mortals in check.

Edited to mention that the different tappings issue can be resolved by supplying the downpipe with both tappings and blanking plugs in each. I believe that the new-age ugly bug car downpipe is a different design which is incompatible with the previous cars.
